We are extremely pleased to announce our new partnership with Lucid Sound. They will be the exclusive provider of gaming headsets for Barrage with our Call of Duty team being the first to represent the brand at the upcoming EGL event.
Lucid Sound are a relatively new name in the gaming audio business but the staff behind the brand are anything but. The company’s founders previously worked at Tritton, the gaming audio company that was purchased by Mad Catz back in 2010.
The big difference between Lucid Sound and other brands is that their headsets don't look like typical gaming headsets. They aren't garish to look at, going for a design that you would more likely see Premier League footballers sporting than your average gamer. This is exactly why we love the brand and why we wanted to work with them.
We were keen to work with a brand that would allow us to be at our peak in game but that we also didn't feel uncomfortable or silly wearing outside of the house. Lucid Sound gives us this and more.
Marketing Director, Connor Dyson, had this to say on the announcement -
